Repeated crashes and BSOD on ASUS TUF A15

I am having the same issues. I have replaced my SSDs and SATA several times, I have fully reinstalled windows several times, and I have followed every piece of advice and suggestions that I can find from top end reviewers, the ASUS website/support chat, as well as gone and individually reinstalled/updated each system driver one at a time. The laptop keeps crashing randomly and nothing i do makes it better. How do I correct this????

It's April 2023 and the problem is still ongoing with the Ryzen7 GeForce 3050 edition. I did all the troubleshooting including reinstalling. I just tried the power settings fix, but we shouldn't be having to do all those workarounds to get this working. If a laptop is properly engineered, we shouldn't have to deal with all of this.

To further prove that it is a hardware problem, since I have two Operating systems installed and if the GPU crashed on one, it would also stop working on the other OS until it would randomly reappear in the next hour. That is my case at least. Random crashes did happen while being on youtube at the beginning but that stopped after doing BIOS updates. Now it's just the GPU crash and being disabled for about an hour.

I purchased mine in November 2022 so I am still under warranty. I talked to the ASUS support rep and opened up an RMA. I will be shipping this soon. I hope they will resolve this issue. It's kind of annoying because I absolutely hate sending my laptop 600km away and then just waiting to get it back!

This is just probably a bad phase for ASUS. Don't forget about the chip shortage we had and the COVID phase we just came out of. That probably had an impact on their products.

I always had ASUS and Intel products. This is my first Ryzen, and probably my last.

The problem is with Ryzen having Processor Performance Boost Mode set to "Aggressive". This causes the insane overclocking to happen. You should set it to "Efficient Aggressive" instead. You can do that by following the link.
I am also now over one month free of the constant BSOD that plagued my machine before doing this change.

Hey I had the same problem. I have the same pc but with the cheaper 1660ti gpu. My processor was constantly overclocking the heck out of one core for no reason, I lowered it's power availability to 90% in the following way, and this fixed my issues, albeit, my computer is a little slower because it cant overclock itself anymore. Press Win + R to launch the Run command box. Type Control Panel in the text input area and hit the enter key.

1. Control Panel will launch. Find and click on the Power Options feature.
2. Click on the Change plan settings option located next to the active power plan of your system.
3. Then click on the Change advanced power settings. A new Power Options window will launch.
4. Find and expand the Processor Power Management option. Click on the Maximum processor state option and edit the values. It will be 100 percent by default.
5. Also you will have to lower the Minimum processor state. I lowered them both to 90% but you could do 95% to see if that works for you.

I have since returned my laptop due to all the blue screens. Before I did, it was complaining about the wifi driver. I updated it the driver, but it still complained.

Mine also never crashed while I was gaming.
