Repeated crashes and BSOD on ASUS TUF A15

Hey I had the same problem. I have the same pc but with the cheaper 1660ti gpu. My processor was constantly overclocking the heck out of one core for no reason, I lowered it's power availability to 90% in the following way, and this fixed my issues, albeit, my computer is a little slower because it cant overclock itself anymore. Press Win + R to launch the Run command box. Type Control Panel in the text input area and hit the enter key.

1. Control Panel will launch. Find and click on the Power Options feature.
2. Click on the Change plan settings option located next to the active power plan of your system.
3. Then click on the Change advanced power settings. A new Power Options window will launch.
4. Find and expand the Processor Power Management option. Click on the Maximum processor state option and edit the values. It will be 100 percent by default.
5. Also you will have to lower the Minimum processor state. I lowered them both to 90% but you could do 95% to see if that works for you.

I have since returned my laptop due to all the blue screens. Before I did, it was complaining about the wifi driver. I updated it the driver, but it still complained.

Mine also never crashed while I was gaming.

I have been experiencing a lot of blue screens in the past 3 months. They occur pretty randomly; initially, it was once or twice a week, but this week it has happened at least 5 times. I own an Asus TUF A15 with Ryzen 4900H and RTX 2060, and I use it for school and gaming. When gaming it never crashes, at least not yet... Sometimes, it crashes even when I'm sitting at my desk and not using the computer.

I tried using WinDbg to figure out where the problem could be coming from, but it's beyond my knowledge. This week, I also tried testing the RAM with Windows Memory Diagnostic, but nothing came up.

Now I’m trying to restore from a restore point but for all the restore point, no one seems to work.

What’s the next step? Erase everything and reinstall?

Or is there any option?

Hi, so, a couple weeks ago I changed the settings of the Energy Power Plan to Efficient Aggressive on my ASUS A15.

I have only had once BSOD but it seems to work fine except by the fact that my computer has been disconnecting from 5G wifi webs like once or twice a day.

I remember read a guy who said that the BSOD was caused by something related with the network connection. They said they replaced the wifi card (something like that) and the BSOD stopped from there.

I would like to know if someone else have encountered the same problem with their wifi connection like me.
