WaasMedic Agent Exe stopping me from working

Well,"feedback" for many of us is not an option.  EVERY TIME I've ever tried to use it, I type in copious info the try to hit the submit / send button and it says I have to login.  I HAVE TO CREATE / LOGIN TO A MS ACCOUNT TO REPORT A PROBLEM TO THEM THAT THEY FOISTED ON ME WITHOUT LOGGING IN TO MY SYSTEM?!?!?  And when I do hit the login button, they erase all the info I had spent so much time and care creating?!?!

2nd, I've waited up to an hour for a blank Task Manager and/or Resource Monitor window(s) to fill-in with information, and that only happens with the disk access drops below 10MB/s access rate, and 100% utilization time.  And at that point WaasMedic is only #2 or #3 on the disk I/O usage and I'm getting use of the machine back.  So I can't even capture data when the problem is occurring!  **** good is that?!?!

Another little indication of the unauthorized snooping and market-ware bloat is this:  After MS corrupted my machine in late 2018 with a forced update to Office 360 (uninitiated by me) that disabled my Office 2007, and refused to let me "roll back" or uninstall Office 360 in a way that I could reinstall Office 2007 from its original CDs, I had to completely wipe the HD and reinstall Windows 10 and all my applications from scratch, restore my data / docs / saved emails etc. (a process that takes about a month due to the incessant restarts, integrity checks and re-application of saved application updates and patches). This time to be sure MS didn't disable Office 2007 again, I did the clean OS install from a media creator DVD with my machine disconnected from the internet (removed ethernet cable from machine to router) and MADE SURE I did not use anything related to an MS account during the initial installation.  IOW, there was no information relating to any MS account I had on that machine.

A few days later after reinstalling Office 2007, Firefox, Thunderbird and restoring my email / browser profile data I reconnected to the internet and let MS do its multiple OS updates (with multiple restarts of 20 minutes or longer) I started getting alerts that there was a problem with my Microsloth Account!?!?  ****!  MS had somehow snooped around this machine and determined - despite the military grade disk wiping I did before  the reinstall - that it had at one time a MS account on it!

I don't want an MS account on this machine AT ALL because of the way they snooped and disabled Office 2007 which I need for maintenance of a clients older format Access DB and some older Excel files IN THE OLD FORMAT THEY CAN ACCESS.

I also don't want anything to do with Edge, yet today, there it was, nearly a half-dozen instances of Edge running for about 10 minutes after I booted up and waited the 13 minutes for the machine to become usable (progress as this was the norm before the Jan 2021 beginning of the problem that is the initiation of this thread).   It is not listed in the startup programs in Task Manager, nor in a user's Startup folder.  It doesn't appear in a "Run" or "RunOnce" sub-hive in the registry.  So why is it running during startup when I as a user want nothing to do with it?  This is AFTER having to reset default htm, html, pdf etc. file handling back to my original chosen applications when Edge suddenly decided it would replace Acrobat and Firefox etc. for those file types. 

It appears to me that WaasMedic is being used for a WHOLE LOT MORE than just update integrity checks and repairs.  Rather it is an agent of forced MS online / cloud services use, marketing and intelligence gathering (i.e. transfer of info on the content of your machine beyond just MS branded products).  And perhaps this problem would just go away if all the extra BS was removed from it.

Yes calling Windows a bloated pig might instigate someone from M$ to ACTUALLY RESPOND HERE. I've tried to use the Feedback Hub while WaasMedic was busy wearing out my hard drive but it wouldn't work since Waas had made the system useless. You pointing out the obvious that Windows has a lot of files isn't helpful at all. It's simply pointing out the painfully obvious. Saying only M$ can find a fix is again simply pointing out the painfully obvious. Again you're not getting it. "Package for Rollup Fix" is not an update. It's obviously an attempt to FIX something broken during an update sometime earlier this year which is when many of us started noticing the Waas issue of long run times at high disk usage. Again look at the files in the location I mentioned. I reported a possible clue here regarding the Rollup fix and your response of "you think 46,000 files is lot" was irrelevant and therefore just as rude as my response. No one needs your condescending attitude so unless you actually have something to contribute please just move on.

Had Compattelerunner running again this morning, no real noticeable performance issues. MS description reads as being used for 'Fixing major Bugs or Security Issues'. So apparently MS don't feel this is a 'Major Bug' so have made no attempt to fix and have totally ignored all postings on this forum & other non MS forums that are reporting this same issue. Only had 2 responses supposedly from MS dating back to March 16th, no response since then so proves MS not taking this whole issue seriously and not interested in their users having to accept a defective OS. They have created the problem - up to them to fix - either they are not interested or don't know how, neither is acceptable.

Microsoft has teamed up with hard disk manufacturers and created waas medic **** to destroy our hard disks. That's the reason they have no response regarding this issue
