WaasMedic Agent Exe stopping me from working

The problem is while there are several thousand of us here who have discovered the WaaS issue there are 800 million devices running Windows 10. M$ doesn't care that a tiny percentage of people are complaining. They won't even notice we're gone. Sadly most users are blissfully ignorant of what M$ is doing. I've been trying to get the word out for people to check what Win 10 is doing to their systems but most people don't seem to understand. By the way I use Open Office for my spreadsheets and it should read your Excel files. Great alternative that doesn't need a subscription.

So be it, at least they CONTROL only the Excel experience and not everything. Can open the laptop and start working and not be stuck for an hour each morning.

It appears there are numbers of postings here that people are considering going over to non MS operating systems next time round which seems a good idea. So what has MS achieved with these blatant attempts to make us upgrade our Windows computers/SSD drives etc. when customers will then be going over to other operating systems & leaving MS thereby with them LOOSING any future business, they don't seem to have thought this through properly. Back to my opinion that MS are on a self induced suicide run. Only issue being I use Office and, in particular, Excel, with 20 odd years of Excel files with the list continuously growing so if changing OS would still be under MS control, the word CONTROL being used intentionally.

After a year of troubleshooting with Dell when the MS Windows Update turned my computer into a brick with 100% disc, and they tried new hard drives, mother boards, then replaced with new model laptop where problem occurred immediately with only installation of Windows & updates, and again sent new hard drives and replaced mother board.... I found and sent them this thread. It is obviously not their issue but they have been amazing, trying to help with troubleshooting and equipment replacement. They read the thread and said yes to SSD, but I had to buy it as an upgrade which I don't think I should have had to pay for. I just finally gave in because I need a functioning computer!

I bought a Samsung 980, a USB enclosure - used Samsungs cloning (Data Migration Software), and then Dell sent out a tech with no charge to install since I have Pro Support and not just a regular upgrade as they call it. They came out and installed the drive, changed the boot to the new drive, and HOLY ****, I am back in business with problem GONE. I can't even compare the speed to what it was before the 100% disc started because it's been a year, but it is fast like I would expect it. It is also not burning up my machine which was ALWAYS HOT to the touch and you could hear it was always running even when idol.

Don't get me wrong... still angry about the whole situation and I will be buying a MAC when this computer dies and I have the money to replace it.
