WaasMedic Agent Exe stopping me from working

Ctrl-Alt_Del get you the tassk manager. I was able to "End Task" on WaasMedicAgent".

The computer disk was still at 100% for a few minutes. I would occasionally drop to 75% to 97%. but, still slow.

Just booted my laptop. Waas ran for 22 minutes and 30 seconds at or near 100% disk along with other Winbloats services. It was reading files in my Download folder....my Download folder. 90% of the time Waas was simply reading from the disk not writing with apparently no network activity. What the hell is Waas doing to our systems ? Is it simply designed to wear them out so we have to buy new ones ? God I hate Winblows.

I noticed that Waas was reading files from this location. Notice there are folders for each Rollout Tuesday since March. So they broke something with a rollout in January or February and have been trying to fix it since then. But again they're not fixing Windows issues by reading non-Windows files from the non-system disk. 

My problem is that this program is NOT the only one. Compattelrunner is another. In the Task Manager most of the intensive Disk Drive activity just says "system". Microsoft does not want to show how much they are actually doing on your computer. In most cases you can do nothing. Every search I do for some of these programs just echoes Microsoft, "...is a trusted program from Microsoft..." and no other information about it. Then these web sites try to sell you something to "tune" your system, then you end up with more programs running on your computer.

On a regular basis my file associations and other settings are changed. Double click to open a simple graphics file, I mostly use paint.exe, but many mornings I double click on the file and Microsoft Photo Viewer shows the file. If I wanted to just view the file, I would have asked for that.

Time and resources are used by Microsoft to "indexing" and it takes a lot of resources and when you actually search for something on your drive that you KNOW is there somewhere, it takes a very long time. So, why does the computer use resources to index the files to make searching more effective when it still takes far too long to search for something?

No one working for or working with will actually come up with any solutions. I defrag, I tune the drive and registry, I stop some services and trim down the things running and I uninstall software to make the computer run more efficiently. Yet Microsoft keeps intruding onto my computer to undo a lot of what I can do.

As a Content Provider and Live Streamer I cannot be waiting for the game being frozen because some background process decides to run at that specific moment just to check on something that does not need checking. I think it is high time that someone with legal knowledge and money sues Microsoft for the invasive things they do. It is no different than a Home Invasion, or Breaking and Entering. It's time they stop.
