Latest Windows 10 iso file too large for DVD!

I downloaded the media creation tool for 20H2 Windows 10 version. Requested 64 bit version ONLY.

ISO file is over 4.7GB, does not fit on DVD. What should I do? I DO NOT want to mess with dual layer,

blue ray, or flash drives. Never had this problem before, seems like a glitch in the tool perhaps,

it does not compress the file properly?

This one works! Just burned it to DVD. So, this should resolve all the media format woes posted here? :)

Be sure to choose the second option to create media installation, unless you want to update directly.

    Hi,

    Find a Win 8.1 ISO you can burn to DVD.  Then upgrade in place using  the  Windows 10 Media Creation tool.

    I think you are missing the point Sammydad1

    Plus, if you're going to do that, then do as others have suggested and use the ISO of Win10 1909, which does fit on a single layer DVD, and then allow Windows Update to upgrade it to 20H2

    Shouldn't Microsoft consider that the file is too large for DVD and have a note on the download program that the size is too large to fit on DVD? Or better yet, make the ISO a size that will fit on a DVD?
