Latest Windows 10 iso file too large for DVD!

I downloaded the media creation tool for 20H2 Windows 10 version. Requested 64 bit version ONLY.

ISO file is over 4.7GB, does not fit on DVD. What should I do? I DO NOT want to mess with dual layer,

blue ray, or flash drives. Never had this problem before, seems like a glitch in the tool perhaps,

it does not compress the file properly?

This one works! Just burned it to DVD. So, this should resolve all the media format woes posted here? :)

Be sure to choose the second option to create media installation, unless you want to update directly.

    My point of the original post is simple.

    The MS link is specifically for downloading the x64 W10 DVD burn ISO.

    It is on Microsoft.com domain for Windows 10 x64.

    As discussed, its slightly excessive size means it does not work.

    It makes the publisher look less than competent and careful in their weblink.

    I would like to think that it was an oversight that was not caught by whoever is responsible for the post, but that now that it has been high-lighted by many good meaning techs, MS will work hard to make sure that this issue gets fixed asap and any future DVD burn ISO links will be fully tested before release.

    After all, that is why the company wants our real world feedback. Life happens.

    Lets not get lost on rabbit trails and end up making these forums look like fb rants.

    You could just install older version of Windows 10 (like 1909) Then update it to 20H2

    Yes, I could do that, I know. But that would take twice as long.

    Extremely inconvenient. Who has so much time? Not supposed to be like that.

    Should not be like that. Microsoft rather inconvenience the

    end user than themselves.... Just saying.

    You are 100% right.
    Futhermore the time wasted cannot be recovered.

    The Microsoft guys could just have solved this Upfront.
    Look at all the comments, they have not earned them any Stars.

    Expeting alot more from them as this nasty mistake.
