I downloaded the media creation tool for 20H2 Windows 10 version. Requested 64 bit version ONLY.
ISO file is over 4.7GB, does not fit on DVD. What should I do? I DO NOT want to mess with dual layer,
blue ray, or flash drives. Never had this problem before, seems like a glitch in the tool perhaps,
it does not compress the file properly?

This one works! Just burned it to DVD. So, this should resolve all the media format woes posted here? :)

Be sure to choose the second option to create media installation, unless you want to update directly.
install rufus here is the link to it https://rufus.ie/ after u installed it open it there should be a arrow next to the select button click on it and choose install and then click on the install button that will appear at where the select button is after that select the windows 10 and then choose Pro home or enterprise and then this part is so important choose 20h1 at the button under the pro home or enterprise button and after that fill everything like normal and it will install the iso file after u installed windows from the iso file go to windows update on the windows u just installed and click on update and that will update to 20h1 the iso file of 20h1 is too big for a dvd thats why you need to first install 20h1 and then update hope it helped

There is unlikely to be a resolution to this as the Windows 10 installation media requires more that 4.7GB. Keeping a previous version that does fit on a DVD and then updating using the later ISO image will probably be the only solution.
As time goes by and the previous version goes out of support then that option may not work.
A USB flash drive or dual layer DVD is the only option for the future.

Glad you got this worked out-I'm having the same issue. In case someone else stumbles on this, note that 20H2 32 bit version does fit onto a normal DVD.
No, it's not worked out. I need the 64 bit version on ONE DVD without any muss and fuss.
