Latest Windows 10 iso file too large for DVD!

I downloaded the media creation tool for 20H2 Windows 10 version. Requested 64 bit version ONLY.

ISO file is over 4.7GB, does not fit on DVD. What should I do? I DO NOT want to mess with dual layer,

blue ray, or flash drives. Never had this problem before, seems like a glitch in the tool perhaps,

it does not compress the file properly?

This one works! Just burned it to DVD. So, this should resolve all the media format woes posted here? :)

Be sure to choose the second option to create media installation, unless you want to update directly.

    The W10 sp2004 DVD iso will burn ok.

    But really, they all should work. No excuses.

    Lets hope that the DVD iso file for the next service pack due to be released very soon will be functionable.

    Might look at going back to Windows 7 to wipe the hard drive, and once back online, update to Win 10 using the media creation tool local PC upgrade.....

    Also trying to fix windows 10 for a friend and

    1. no ethernet connectivity works, no wireless, nothing
    2. All Dell diagnostics pass without error
    3. no usb ports work, do not recognized a thumb drive
    4. Windows reset fails with The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation

    The dvd drive is the only option I have.

    Not happy.

    Your #3.  Windows 10 is changing so often that there is no longer a use for a very old build.

    In all the time of Windows 10 I have not made one DVD and I have 9 computers.

    Even my oldest laptop has a USB slot.
