Recieve an email fron PC Solutions stating a payment of $329.00 was recieved by auto renewal for my Firewall Security Plan. I have never dealt with this company and wondered if anyone had the same problem. I called to inquire and they could give me no info about my'account". But, they wanted me to use the "Teamviewer" app to cancel the account. That did not sound right. Supposedly it's the only was to cancel the transaction. HELP!

Yes, it's a scam Do not use TeamViewer. It will let them take control of your and royally screw things up. There is no transaction to cancel. Just ignore their message.
In fact you should never let *anyone* take control of your computer, using TeamViewer or anything else, unless it's someone you know and trust impilcitly, both with regard to his honesty and technical skills.

It is a scam, as you have stated you don't have any history with that company. What I can suggest is just ignore them if they call you or block and mark their email spam on your mail app. Don't follow on whatever they told you to do. Because most likely they were trying to access your machine and hack it.

I received a "PAYMENT CONFIRMED" e-mail for $397.29 stating that I had 24 hours to dispute, query, or cancel, call+1 (903) 493-9025. It was for a Auto Renewable plan of my McAfee family under the name of PC Solutions at 5000 Headquarters Dr., Plano, Tx. I did not respond.
Same thing happened to me. The email stated it was renewing my McAfee Family Subscription, although, I use Norton. I called the number, and he in fact, wanted to send me to a computer access site, anydesk.com. When I saw that I told him, No. I will dispute this with my bank, when the charge hits. He tried to talk me into doing it, by saying......Ma'am, I am only going to connect you to our refund department. Ummmm, no. I am no fool. I said , why can't you connect me over the phone, you do not need access to my computer for anything. I will dispute this charge with my bank, have a nice day LOSER!!!
Yeah, I got one today telling me they charged me $496.54 to renew my complete protection plan for 3 years. I don't even know who this company is and certainly never bought anything from them. Plus the sender's email address is not a .com but gmail. Checking all my charge cards just in case. but I'm marking it as spam.
