Recieve an email fron PC Solutions stating a payment of $329.00 was recieved by auto renewal for my Firewall Security Plan. I have never dealt with this company and wondered if anyone had the same problem. I called to inquire and they could give me no info about my'account". But, they wanted me to use the "Teamviewer" app to cancel the account. That did not sound right. Supposedly it's the only was to cancel the transaction. HELP!

Yes, it's a scam Do not use TeamViewer. It will let them take control of your and royally screw things up. There is no transaction to cancel. Just ignore their message.
In fact you should never let *anyone* take control of your computer, using TeamViewer or anything else, unless it's someone you know and trust impilcitly, both with regard to his honesty and technical skills.

It is a scam, as you have stated you don't have any history with that company. What I can suggest is just ignore them if they call you or block and mark their email spam on your mail app. Don't follow on whatever they told you to do. Because most likely they were trying to access your machine and hack it.

Same issue - here's the email - i looked up (googled) the company name, the address has been changed - when you call, the phone rings while the hold music is on - no one answers -

I told them I'm reporting them to the state of Ca... with a very not so nice note - YES definitely a scam
if they TOUCH my credit card ( I have few) I'll cancel it immediately. I checked them so far nothing...

Its a SCAM -
I got the same scam email - but it was for Norton. My cable provider did provide Norton along with our Internet service, but as of Jan 1st - the discontinued Norton, and went with XFi Advanced Security, and I know I never paid for a Norton subscription when I was with Xfinity. Besides, I look at the email address from the sender and if it has long digits/symbols in the email address, and not from a company then I know it is a scam.

I got an email stating their taking out $391.27 in two days. I never ordered anything from these people. Please help!
wife got same email thanking for payment of 397.29 for auto renewable plan of Norton family. Checked bank account and nothing taken out. Went online to bing and searched to see if a scam and found this site. Ignored and blocked.
