Got message: "We couldn't update the system reserved partition."

How do I continue?

    Hi Greg

    I think the best option now is to contact HP support and explain that you cannot boot form a USB drive on your system their techs will be the best to provide you with the steps to overcome that . . .

    got two messages:

    1. Checking for media presence
    2. No option to boot to

    And that's as far as it goes

    You only need the USB drive labelled ESD-USB, that is shown in your screenshot above to install Windows 10 . . .

    Okay, try booting form the USB this way . . .

    Insert the USB

    Boot your PC up

    On the HP logo screen repeatedly tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.

    Select the F9 boot options menu, select the USB drive and hit the enter key.
