i got it figured out via microsoft support   but the question remains.  i have 15 phones 640xl .  i use one or two for me.  and the other 13 i plan on going to asia to small villages and give to poor people.  the question is what operating system will be better for them.  8.1 or ten..  lets face it in one or two years windows ten will have no support either like the 8.1 so whats on the phone is whats on the phone.   8.1 is simpler to use.  these poor villagers just want to call and text.   they don't have wifi or money for data plan.  so should i give them phones with 8.1 or ten?  i can either update or not.  finally you know their is a tool that reverts windows ten phone back to 8.1 again.  i assume that tool will remain working???????  even though the otcupdater is being phased out by Microsoft right now
