My Windows 10 Version 20H2 will not install the update 0x80004005.

Have tried 3 times. Message on update page says it did not install and I may try again. This is not a new install. Have been using for couple of years.

    Thank you.  I’ll continuing working this approach. Reinstalling my apps would be very difficult since id have to find many many product activation codes.  

    I will certainly update results.

    install Ubuntu and be done with Windows anything...they are too rich now, and Gates now has all the land he can steal!

    I have had the same issue for a long time. Very much a disappointment. I have had 2 help chats with Microsoft ,first one did a remote hook up and was buzzing around for a couple of hours. Second one didn,t seem to give a darn. I am thinking maybe time for a Mac if Microsoft can,t get their stuff in order.
