Have tried 3 times. Message on update page says it did not install and I may try again. This is not a new install. Have been using for couple of years.

I have the same problem. I have a custom built PC With a Asus H-370 gaming motherboard, rtx 2080, i7 9700k, It will download the update and in the middle of installing it, it will lock up, then it will infinitely boot for a while before it backs out the update. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I am currently in 1909.

I did the weirdest thing and it seemed to have solved the problem - I have had an issue with the major windows updates for about a year and a half now. After installing the update the computer would reboot and get completely frozen at the screen with the spinning circle (The "Please do not turn your computer..." etc screen). Then I updated my motherboard BIOS and it worked like a charm, went through on the first try!
