Have tried 3 times. Message on update page says it did not install and I may try again. This is not a new install. Have been using for couple of years.

A member of the community, @Saltgrass, provided numerous suggestions eventually centering on my boot data store being messed up.  I applied various commands suggested by Saltgrass to re-configure my boot data store settings and delete a bad entry and my issue was resolved.  20H2 finally installed.

    Thanks for your solution!!!

I have just successfully upgraded!! I went around in circles for days trying different solutions.

Only one suggestion, to get this to work I had to boot from a recovery disk, otherwise the BCD file is locked by the OS.

    Thanks again!

The problem lies in the 21 machine under my control at work...they can't operate Windows, most of them, little on Ubuntu!
