I have spend 2 day 17 hours trying to get this program to work.

Great to see another seafaring brethren. I couldn't quite resolve your uniform cover's insignia - Coast Guard? I see you were a Warrant Officer - not sure of the grade. I was a Naval Aviator for 8 years. Counting my trainers, I typed in 5 different AC. My primary role was reconnaissance. The best plane I ever flew was the North American Vigilante RA-5C. Like all of us, I'm aging up too. I retired from active flying 15 years ago. I too enjoy playing this sim, especially when you can complete your trip.

The abbreviation I used in my post - AV - references my anti-virus protection. I would not normally suggest to anyone they disable their computer's protection, but in this context I did that for a specific download. Here's a way to see your computer's update status: press the Windows key in the lower left corner of your keyboard - the key with the Windows symbol on it; when the Search field opens at the bottom left, type "winver" - without the quotes. When the status of your windows OS displays, make sure you have the latest version indicated: 21H1. If 21H1 is not indicated, then you have to download that update from Microsoft. Once you've established that you have 21H1 installed, follow the other directions I outlined above in my earlier post to download Flight Simulator. Good luck, Robert. Let us know how you make out.     How do I resolve a wmphotot.dll error? Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help.

    On my Flight Simulator,,, It is responding very slowing having to click the keys several times to get it to work... terrain is very sketchy... takes forever to load up... all of this seems to have started doing this from the last update. Is there someone that can log into my computer to fix this problem.,.. I am not the best at computer repair.

    Hello, I bought a boxed version of the microsoft flight simulator after installing from the dvd the microsoft store opened where I entered activation code and had it installed after downloading the launcher the game will start a screen with the text "press any button to start" will appear after pressing any button nothing happens just previews of the game running from the beginning

    Hi, I'm Tony Volante and used to run the Flight Simulator User Group UK. My last Flightsim was FSX. Retired from it for a while back came back into it when I discovered MSFS2020. Bought it and installed it, no problem. Been using it for some 6 months now. I want to update my local airport by using Airport Scenery Designer. I should automatically find the default airports but it doesn't. I can only assume that is because it cannot find the SDK folder. The program asks for it on installation. It found the basic MSFS folder, but not the SDK one. Now, her is my problem. I have searched my hard drive from top to bottom, opening every likely looking folder. My hard disk has a basic Local Disk C: as well as a Data (E). I've searched every part of both but cannot even find MSFS, never mind the SDK. Any idea why of where they may be lurking ?
