En outre, lorsque je veux supprimer le petit fichier « .log » cette action est refusée et le message suivant est généré: (dupliqué !!) alors que le navigateur Edge n’est absolument pas ouvert!

    Hello GBorn,

    thank you for the Information.

In Windows 10 Home for Edge Crashpad should be found under:

    C:\Users[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Crashpad

Unfortunatly I could not find the Folder AppData (C:\Users[username]\AppData).

Do you have an idea what could be the problem?

    Thank you.

PS: I have administrator rights on the computer.

I was saving a file using fireshot and clicked on cancel button in the save dialog box. Everything went for a toss. Multiple folders got deleted within the parent directory and this new file was created. Since everyone is talking about browsers, I was using firefox at that time and there were some PDFs being viewed in Microsoft EDGE. There is something seriously amiss here as I have lost nearly 64 MB of data and 390 odd files.

I had these debug text files appearing with Adobe Photoshop whenever I was opening files this one appeared on the folder. I got it fixed by contacting their support and now these started to pop up when I am opening the pdf's - and there are more and more debug folders and files on my drive. Not sure what to do so I wouldn't completely lose everything on my pc, I am completely not an IT person!
