Windows update is stuck at 61%

I do not know what this tool does or how it can help install a standard OS Update.

I am trying to update windows to version 20H2, however, the installation it's stuck at 61%.

What I tried:

1) I tried running this in administrator command prompt:

net stop wuauserv

net stop cryptSvc

net stop bits

net stop msiserver

ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

net start wuauserv

net start cryptSvc

net start bits

net start msiserver

2) I tried updating windows in safe mode,

**3)**I tried disabling every non Microsoft service in msconfig

**4)**I tried updating using the windows 10 update assistant

Does anyone know how to fix it?

so this worked for me:

1. disable/delete all Conexant driver
2. disable/delete all intel audio driver
3. any audio driver for a particular function should be diabled/deleted
4. goto c:/program files then, delete all files for audio conexant

Did you download the Media creation tool?

I turned off both firewall and Defender antivirus with no change in results. Error code remains 0x80070652

I posted a comment on this site on April 14th and this thread is all about the same issue; in my post on the 14th

download it.....before running it, turn off your anti virus.
