Windows update is stuck at 61%

Hello,

I am trying to update windows to version 20H2, however, the installation it's stuck at 61%.

What I tried:

1) I tried running this in administrator command prompt:

net stop wuauserv

net stop cryptSvc

net stop bits

net stop msiserver

ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

net start wuauserv

net start cryptSvc

net start bits

net start msiserver

2) I tried updating windows in safe mode,

**3)**I tried disabling every non Microsoft service in msconfig

**4)**I tried updating using the windows 10 update assistant

Does anyone know how to fix it?

    Same here.

    But looks like nobody really cares at Micro$oft.

    If the product works for 90%, screw the last 10%.

    This is occurring with me right now.  Also stuck at 61%  I actually had this issue since the 2004 update.  I guess I may have to reset my windows as well.

    I'm using Windows 10 Education edition.

    hi I have the same problem with my windows 10 computer to. I tried everything to update it to 20h2 but it always gets stuck at 61% I would like to know how to solve this problem as i have been delaying this update for 2 months. I used the update assistant still not working
