Random Freeze and Unresponsiveness [Windows 10 20H2]

I recently updated to Windows 10 20H2 from 2004. Since then I have been experiencing random freezes, lock-ups, and unresponsiveness. I could be watching a video and the video would pause, the touchpad won't respond, touch won't work, and the power key won't sign me off. The only option I am left with is to press and hold the power button to force-restart the laptop.

I am using Lenovo 920 with i7 8th gen 512 SSD and 16 GB of RAM.

Please, send help.

Having same problem. System had been rock solid stable with Win10 version 2004, installed 20H2 update and the next morning I walked into my machine having completely locked up. Nothing helpful in the system logs to indicate the cause. I let it go and 2 weeks later, same thing. Hard locked while the system was idle overnight - nothing in the system logs. I just rolled back to version 2004 today, so we'll see if that fixes the issue or not.

Just providing an update here, SO FAR, it's been stable again since rolling back to version 2004. Now it's only been like 12 days so that's not a huge sample size, but no signs of any issues since the rollback. I'd recommend some other folks try rolling back to 2004 also and see if the issue goes away.

I have managed to fix most of the issues, but the Audio still will not work right with headphones, sometimes it freezes and some download apps it freezes, and do not go buy Micro craps Driver updater it sucks and never finds the update that's needed.

Id like to add that I am still having this issue

I have tried everything listed > rolled back to 2004 still had the issue
Went as far as to format the harddrive and then reinstall, still had the same issue
Only thing i can think at this point is to go back to like 1909 or some older version and see if the issue is still there

Im not 100 percent sure how to get said version tho

Will update if i have anything to update on

I've updated to the latest version a couple of days ago and I've had one freeze yesterday. The screen went black and the system was completely locked up.
