Random Freeze and Unresponsiveness [Windows 10 20H2]

I recently updated to Windows 10 20H2 from 2004. Since then I have been experiencing random freezes, lock-ups, and unresponsiveness. I could be watching a video and the video would pause, the touchpad won't respond, touch won't work, and the power key won't sign me off. The only option I am left with is to press and hold the power button to force-restart the laptop. 

I am using Lenovo 920 with i7 8th gen 512 SSD and 16 GB of RAM.

Please, send help.

    try to install a previous windows version. not the 20H2, the guy above says that uninstalling the 20H2 update may solve the problem. i will try it soon.

    Thanks. I'll try that I'll have to get another computer to download the image file. My PC doesn't even stay 15 mins before everything goes black and freezes. So frustrating.

    Please let us know how it goes. My laptop would still go black and freezes at least once a day. On a bad day, around 6-7 times.

    Having same problem. System had been rock solid stable with Win10 version 2004, installed 20H2 update and the next morning I walked into my machine having completely locked up. Nothing helpful in the system logs to indicate the cause. I let it go and 2 weeks later, same thing. Hard locked while the system was idle overnight - nothing in the system logs. I just rolled back to version 2004 today, so we'll see if that fixes the issue or not.

    Just providing an update here, SO FAR, it's been stable again since rolling back to version 2004. Now it's only been like 12 days so that's not a huge sample size, but no signs of any issues since the rollback. I'd recommend some other folks try rolling back to 2004 also and see if the issue goes away.
