Now into 3rd week with no freezes, so looks like I have a stable Win10 again.
Random Freeze and Unresponsiveness [Windows 10 20H2]
I recently updated to Windows 10 20H2 from 2004. Since then I have been experiencing random freezes, lock-ups, and unresponsiveness. I could be watching a video and the video would pause, the touchpad won't respond, touch won't work, and the power key won't sign me off. The only option I am left with is to press and hold the power button to force-restart the laptop.
I am using Lenovo 920 with i7 8th gen 512 SSD and 16 GB of RAM.
Please, send help.

2021-07-27T15:32:46+00:00 Same as some folks in this thread, i did a clean install on my Lenovo G480 and the problem is finally gone. here are the steps:
- Use microsoft media creation tool to create an usb drive with win10 20h2.
- Do a clean install
- At this stage the problem is still there. Go check for windows updates, this will download 21h2 and some other stuffs.
- While waiting for the download, check the optional drivers suggested by microsoft, install all of them but exclude those duplicate ones.
- Wait for all the updates to finish installation then restart. The unresponsive issue went away with my laptop.

If during the download or installation process and my laptop freezes, will that cause a corruption on the files or no?
