Random Freeze and Unresponsiveness [Windows 10 20H2]

Well ****... unfortunately I don't have the option to rollback like that. This is freaking sad man

After rolling back, Windows Update offered a new 2021-07 update, but not the two 2021-06 that I blame for my problems. So let it install in case it fixed anything. So far so good...

Update - was hopeful when I saw system wanted to up date intel drivers for the screen and install windows 10 21H1 update, I let it update everything with my fingers crossed. No luck, it immediately froze after about 10 minutes, tried several restarts but no luck. Only way out is a hard boot with the power button. Basically I have a very expensive paperweight, that works like a computer for 10 minutes and stops cold.

Alright guys so like everyone else I have tried freaking everything in this thread to try and solve this problem. At this point I still believe its some kind of driver/software/OS issue but I may have remedied the problem. I began to notice every time I had this experience of lagging out then freezing the first thing that would happen is the internet would cut out. Typically I was downloading something in the background even when it seemed like I was at idle the more I think about it... anyways... I looked around for people having driver/hardware issues related to network adapters etc. and it seemed to be the exact same symptoms; random freezing and unresponsiveness in the exact same way. This led me to a power saving setting within the settings of the wifi adapter properties allowing the computer to turn off the device. Several people reported an improvement with this option unchecked. I changed the setting then did something else and wanted to ensure it didn't inadvertently switch this setting back on. Lo and behold the dang configuration menu for the device and only that menu froze and became unresponsive, the rest of explorer worked fine and I had to end the task manually in tm. When this happened the same thing occurred, I noticed my download speed dropped to nothing on my rainmeter monitor and feared the same thing was happening again and would have to hard reset but, it slowly came back and I did not. I checked Event Viewer and noticed 2 errors minutes before the freeze with steam, it was having ip issues and such.. it seems the driver definitely crashed as wifi was basically off for a moment, all of my available networks disappearing. This to me was a strong indication that the problem is with the way windows is interacting with certain wifi drivers. So I said screw it and went down to the local best buy, bought a good much newer adapter and so far it seems to be cruising along just fine. I updated all my steam games and streamed videos for hours without issue.. I will update if the issue persists.

I know that's probably not the kind of "fix" anyone was hoping for but I figured id share anyways
