Random Freeze and Unresponsiveness [Windows 10 20H2]

I recently updated to Windows 10 20H2 from 2004. Since then I have been experiencing random freezes, lock-ups, and unresponsiveness. I could be watching a video and the video would pause, the touchpad won't respond, touch won't work, and the power key won't sign me off. The only option I am left with is to press and hold the power button to force-restart the laptop.

I am using Lenovo 920 with i7 8th gen 512 SSD and 16 GB of RAM.

Please, send help.

Well, after installing KB5001391, I had one more crash shortly. However, only after this did the "News and interests" feature, also part of this update, show up. So it is conceivable that the patch of our real interest had not been live first. Since that 2nd reboot, my system has been up and running, i.e. for 5.5 days so far.

To put this in context, my previous incidents happened at such intervals:

    4/14, 4/18, 5/2, 5/7, 5/9, 5/9

Should my system crash again, I'll (try to remember to) notify you guys...

Same issue on a Asus laptop, 20H2 Build 19042.985(20H2 was installed on the 8th; laptop was affected by the Conexant issue). The freezes/hangs started on 12th of May, after I installed the May Cumulative Update (Security Update KB5003173) and Servicing Stack 10.0.19041.985. Can use my mouse but no action I try to do with it works, can't open anything or when I try do I'm met with the spinning wheel, can't access task manager, CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't do anything either.

I have to force close the laptop. You can see on the chart above that the freezes/hangs happen every 2 days. On the 16th, my laptop just shut down by itself while I was in the middle of working. I had no such issues on 1909.

Does it only happen once in every two days or multiple times? In my case, it happens 3-4 times a day. Then, 2 days of nothing (if I'm lucky), then the issue would come back. Slowly, it gotten worse. Now it's at least once a day for me.

At the moment, I only have the issue like the graph states. Microsoft needs to address this fast, constant powering off/on will definitely crash and burn our hdds, especially on laptops.
