I recently updated our 40 PCs to Windows 10 20H2 from 2004. Now Skype is hanging in all system. Please fix it ASAP.
Random Freeze and Unresponsiveness [Windows 10 20H2]
I recently updated to Windows 10 20H2 from 2004. Since then I have been experiencing random freezes, lock-ups, and unresponsiveness. I could be watching a video and the video would pause, the touchpad won't respond, touch won't work, and the power key won't sign me off. The only option I am left with is to press and hold the power button to force-restart the laptop.
I am using Lenovo 920 with i7 8th gen 512 SSD and 16 GB of RAM.
Please, send help.

2021-01-24T03:32:43+00:00 Having the exact same issue. After the update to 20h2, it randomly freezes and has to be manually shut off in order to restart.

I was 100% without issue until 20h2 dropped. Now its about 2 to 3 hours before it freezes to complete unresponsiveness.
Looking through the event viewer, its a generic error. Nothing specific to track down.
===UPDATE==
Reinstalled Windows10 Pro 20H2 via Windows Media Creation Tool. All updates, all firmware upgrades, newest drivers.
I'm still getting hangs. I'm reverting back to the update before 20H2. 20H2 is unusable in this state. I'm hard-restarting every 5-20 min depending on random factors. I've already been kicked out of a few calls.
Someone needs to seriously look into this. If it were an issue which would leave a clear log or a blue screen with a dump file, I would be able to fix it somewhere or at least know what's going on. As of now, I just get an Application Event mentioning whichever program hung first.

2021-01-11T16:40:34+00:00 I've got the same issue Ryzen 7 4800hs mostly when I'm using Visual Studio. The laptop just freeze and the only way is to hold the power button and reboot the system.
What could cause this issue, I've check the error logs, but there is nothing specific?

2020-12-25T17:27:50+00:00 That is ridiculous. I don't think Windows would come out with a solution for this. I have this issue since Windows version 1909 and now we're on Windows 20H2. Still no fix for this. And I think only a small number of people that actually have this issue that's why there is no fix available. Which is very disappointing. Windows 8 is much more reliable than Windows 10.
