Random Freeze and Unresponsiveness [Windows 10 20H2]

I recently updated to Windows 10 20H2 from 2004. Since then I have been experiencing random freezes, lock-ups, and unresponsiveness. I could be watching a video and the video would pause, the touchpad won't respond, touch won't work, and the power key won't sign me off. The only option I am left with is to press and hold the power button to force-restart the laptop.

I am using Lenovo 920 with i7 8th gen 512 SSD and 16 GB of RAM.

Please, send help.

I have the exact same problem occured after the Windows 10 20H2, checked all the logs but no clue, the pc becomes unresponsive and cant open any new file, the audio stops after 2-3 min later, cant restart or close the pc. The only solution is holding the power button.

    My pc setup:

    • AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7-4.3Ghz
    • Msi Zotac RTX 2080 8GB OC GPU
    • Corsair 2×8Gb Vengeance 3200Mhz 16Cl Ram
    • Corsair CX-750 Power Supply

I believe that problem relies in the communication between GPU and computer because when you open the task manager and check the GPU part it says that -%1 usage. I couldnt log the error itself but when these freezes happens the process doesnt stop and only a small chunks of the screen gets rendered. Any solution would be appreciated because I started to lost trust in my computer.

Did this as well but the results came back clean. No corrupted files whatsoever. Did the dism / online / cleanup-image / restore health command as well but no luck. I tried to scan for any malwares but found nothing.

I did the sfc scannow it found nothing, I do notice that the reinstall did change the bios from 1.02 to 1.08 does anyone think that could be causing the issues?

    Try this,

How to run SFC scannow in Windows 10

    • Press the Windows key + X to open the main menu.
    • Click Command Prompt (Admin) to open the Command Prompt as an administrator.
    • When Command Prompt opens, enter sfc /scannow and press Enter.
    • The repair process will now start. Don't close Command Prompt or interrupt the repair process. https://windowsreport.com/system-file-checker/OR Virus? Malware?

    Did that, did nothing
