Windows 10 Feature update (to 2004) Conexant driver Issue

It's been close to 5 months Win 10 version 2004 has been made available to the end-users.

Initially, there's been a lot of "Bugs and Issues" with the initial release. Most of them have been resolved by various updates. But there's one particular issue regarding Conexant Drivers that I believe is barring a lot of users to upgrade to the newest version 2004.

I myself is a victim of such a situation. I myself have been seeing the same old message "The Windows 10 May 2020 Update is on its way. Once it’s ready for your device, you’ll see the update available on this page."

I don't know what is Microsoft doing regarding this issue lately. but it has been quite a while and the issue hasn't been fixed yet. A lot of other issues have been resolved but this particular issue hasn't been fixed.

I think Microsoft has been neglecting this issue for far too long, and I feel abandoned as an end-use. 

Is there any chance that the ones like me can upgrade to "Version 2004" before the Win 10 October 2020 release?

    This post is a rant and it does not contain useful info, since the issue is just nit resolved

    It has now been 6 months since the release, and even the October update is out, but still there is nothing from windows or synaptics, just “update is on the way!”. As a windows pc owner, i think that i shouldn’t be treated as a nobody cares about you customer, i don’t know on which side the issue is, Ms or synaptics, but i do think that a driver issue should have been resolved in 6 months. In 6 months you could have even written a driver from scratch. I am still on 1909, which is a year and 2 months old now. And i cant update. ( well technically i can but but Ms says that i shouldn’t because of the driver issue.)

    Not yet! My system is still not upgradable. Hope to have this solved soon!

    This is abysmal - my HP is a corporate level laptop only two years old. HP is doing nothing to support this either. Why is Microsoft ignoring this issue? I was fine missing the April update, but by 2020 H2, it NEEDS TO BE FIXED!

    There seem to have been some interesting development. Windows update is offering this driver update which is newer than what we all have had previously. This might resolve the 2004 update block which I can't test at this moment because my Windows 10 Home is already updated to the 2004 version.

    It´s very disapointing to not be able to update our windows because compatibility issues so old.

    I hope Microsoft and Synaptics find a solution soon so we could have our systems updated with latest features.

    MS just left us HIgh and dry. I don't see it being fixed any time soon. 

    But Support for 1909 will last for another 1 year I guess. Typically the support (system update, security update, and patch) lasts for 18 months.  Lifecycle FAQ - Windows - Microsoft Lifecycle | Microsoft Docs
