    There is no information on how to uninstall the last windows update any place on Windows Support

    You can see that in the FAQ 😊

    Windows Update: FAQ - Windows Help (microsoft.com)

    We don’t recommend that you remove any installed updates. However, if you must remove an update, you can do so in update history.

    1. *SelectStart>*Settings > Update & Security  > Windows Update   > View update history > Uninstall updates.
    2. Select the update you want to remove, then selectUninstall.

    Hi there,

    Wondering if you can help me with the following Windows Update error.

    Windows 10 Pro x64

    v10.0.19041 Build 19041

    2020-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 2004 for x64-based Systems (KB4579311)

    Update Error: Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x8007000d)

    I've run both DISM/SFC and tried the Windows Update Tool and neither has worked.

    I did notice an interesting event log warning message that appears when I try to run the Windows Update. Not sure if its definitely related.

    Windows Logs/System

    The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

    {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54}

     and APPID

    {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402}

     to the user MACHINENAME\username SID (S-1-5-21-3488851760-1797889736-3880924367-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

    Many thanks,

    Samea

    I've tried to install this update a dozen + times now through both Windows Update and a manual download .  The update fails every time without reason.  I've had zero issues ever installing an update on this laptop.  Any help would be appreciated, I have followed all kind of procedures to fix Windows Update, etc but it seems the actual update is failing for some reason.  I'm baffled.
