Update is failing repeatedly - both from Windows Update in "Settings" and from the downloaded msu file from "Microsoft Update Catalog".

- Patch you are installing: KB4579311 [2020-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 2004 for x64-based Systems]
- Reported error messages: Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x8007000d) [this is the latest error code. there were different codes during previous update attempts]
- This update through Windows Update in Settings have been failing repeatedly since its release.
- I also downloaded the following file (the same update as above) from Microsoft Update Catalog, but that failed to install too: windows10.0-kb4579311-x64_9cc8221b0ed1bc799278d029c4edadf785920da9.msu
- Please help.
Nobody replied to my original post, but after skimming over the subsequent dozens and dozens of posts/discussion, it looks like I am LUCKY that I cannot install Upadate **KB4579311 !!!!**Ha ha ha...
