This is a summary of the cumulative updates released on October 13th for all the supported consumer releases of Windows 10.

  1. Windows 10 version 2004 - KB4579311 Build 19041.572
  2. Windows 10 versions 1903 and 1909 - KB4574727, Build 18362.1139 and 18363.1139
  3. Windows 10 versions 1809 - KB4570333, Build 17763.1518

IMPORTANT Windows 10, version 1809, will reach end of service on November 10, 2020 for devices running Windows 10 Home, Pro, Pro for Workstation, and IoT Core editions. These devices will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates that contain protection from the latest security threats. To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends updating to the latest version of Windows 10.

    Ha ha ha ha!

    Well the site is still up and running. And it's not "Woohoo!" ...

    Yeah It's been 3 days in a row without anyone  posting. 

    And Guess what? We have another one...and another and another .....

    LoL! Yeah Right! *Sigh*!

    I thought for sure something went horribly wrong with the site or my computer when I saw 3 days with no posts! I was like.. HUH???   What am I NOT seeing!  It took Neilpzz to assure me I was still connected to the interweb.  Now I see the 'hits' are coming in once again.  SMH. Calling it a night.... think I'll go practice the flossing dance.  LOL

    So basically to run a laptop and a word document (no gaming, no complex design, etc) you need now to be a rocket scientist. The solutions that are provided (as fudges and guesses) can only be understood and attempted, without risk, by experts. The rest of people, who work from home, have no IT support and have not studied computer masters, are left with ruined laptops, which affect their source of income. 

    And there is nothing we can do. Unbelievable.

    Have to wholeheartedly agree with you Frustrated-CannotWork!  Reminds me of something I posted back on 10/20-- below is just a part of what I posted:

    This isn't Rocket Science People!!!! --****It's by far harder and way worse! I am TRULY SICKENE D by all the problems I'm reading in this thread and previous ones!!

    While MUCH of this is way over my computer-illiterate head, I can see that it takes jumping through many hoops to try to fix what Microsh*t has broken!!!  Heads should be rolling somewhere!!! Many people assume their computer is broken, when in fact, it's the bleeping MS updates!!  People's computers have turned into expensive paper weights!

    Today:  In another post that I can't find, I too said something along the lines of "I feel as if I need a PhD in computer programming."

    Unlike you, I don't rely on my computer for my work or source of income!  Feel bad for all of you that do!

    I don't think MS knows how to dig themselves out of the hole they've dug, and left it up to the users to search for fixes to things that they have broken. While many here live/breathe/understand computers, it's not my main interest by any means.  However, since update problems... I've been trying to learn a Little!!  I'm beginning to web search for correct answers to problems, and read all the advice of the pro's here. I have a little time to do that -- but many of you don't!!!  I get very frustrated searching as one site will say "do this" and another site says "do that." If I see the word BIOS I run for the hills :D

    Let's hope their is a cumulative fix soon!
