BSOD Loop - CorsairVBusDriver.sys failure

After running optional system update for Corsair devices, my ASUS RoG G771 laptop is completely unusable.  It's stuck in a BSOD reboot loop and not one recovery method is working.  I wasn't provided a recovery disk with the laptop and apparently it's unable to boot from USB.  I can't even reset the OS because it prompts for an outlook.com password and says the one I provide is incorrect (I've confirmed I am entering the latest password for the account and it's working on other devices).  Safe mode doesn't work, either.

Others have posted this on the Corsair forum and the company doesn't answer.  My laptop is now a boat anchor and I'm desperate for a solution...

    How to I access Powershell from the blue troubleshoot menu? I’ve never heard of it before.

    I tried following his CMD instructions but it wouldn’t run:

    DISM /Image:Z:\ /Get-Drivers | more

    because “get-drivers” is unknown

    It also didn’t run:

    DISM /Image:Z:\ /Remove-Driver /Driver:oemxxx.inf

    because “remove-driver” is unknown

    Perhaps I’m missing something. I’m not used to CMD. When I’ve been trying those commands the first part is:

    X:\windows\system32>

    I’m not sure if that has something to do with it not working?

    I had the same issue due to the corsair driver update. I performed a system restore, which rolled back that update, and then I disabled automatic driver updates by adding a key to the Windows Regisrtry. I also removed the corsair utility program. No issues since making this change as I've been gaming, coding and browsing the internet with multiple restarts in between.
