This is a summary of the cumulative updates released on November 10th for all the supported consumer releases of Windows 10.

  1. Windows 10 version 2004 and version 20H2 - KB4586781, Build 19041 and 19042.630
  2. Windows 10 versions 1903 and 1909 - KB4586786, Build 18362.1198 and 18363.1198
  3. Windows 10 1809 - KB4586793, Build  17763.1577

IMPORTANT 

Windows 10, version 1809, will reach end of service on November 10, 2020 for devices running Windows 10 Home, Pro, Pro for Workstation, and IoT Core editions. These devices will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates that contain protection from the latest security threats. To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends updating to the latest version of Windows 10.

IMPORTANT  

Windows 10, version 1903 will reach end of servicing on December 8, 2020. To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends that you update to the latest version of Windows 10. If you want to update to Windows 10, version 1909, you must use the Enablement Package KB4517245 (EKB). Using the EKB makes updating faster and easier and requires a single restart. For more information, see Windows 10, version 1909 delivery options.

    Our Windows updates don't seem to be working on the majority of our computers - 80 out of 100 require updates according to WSUS, but most of them don't find any... though they do report "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes".

    WSUS reports that KB4586781 is installed on all computers, but then I click "Check online for updates from Microsoft Update", the update is offered, automatically installs and takes a considerable amount of time to complete, sticking at 74% for the most part.

    The KB4586876 my pc is crashing and i can't update it.I have to restart in safe mode to fix

    Then what should i do? How can i fix it? Untul now i cannot receive any update. It keep saying error and even my virus protecrtion i cannot enable it.

    The solution I came up with was to download the update from https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=kb4586781 and install it as a standalone update.

    You can either double click to run, or to install it from the command line, you can use something like:

    wusa.exe "\path\to\file\windows10.0-kb4586781-x64_bd543ce012ec1695201cdb2d324a2206bd445132.msu" /quiet /norestart /log:C:\Temp\KB4586781.etl

    Oddly, even though WSUS reports that it's already installed everywhere, it installs anyway when you run the standalone package, and if you run it a second time, it tells you it's already installed - so clearly WSUS isn't reporting correctly in the first place.
