This is a summary of the cumulative updates released on November 10th for all the supported consumer releases of Windows 10.

  1. Windows 10 version 2004 and version 20H2 - KB4586781, Build 19041 and 19042.630
  2. Windows 10 versions 1903 and 1909 - KB4586786, Build 18362.1198 and 18363.1198
  3. Windows 10 1809 - KB4586793, Build  17763.1577

IMPORTANT 

Windows 10, version 1809, will reach end of service on November 10, 2020 for devices running Windows 10 Home, Pro, Pro for Workstation, and IoT Core editions. These devices will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates that contain protection from the latest security threats. To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends updating to the latest version of Windows 10.

IMPORTANT  

Windows 10, version 1903 will reach end of servicing on December 8, 2020. To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends that you update to the latest version of Windows 10. If you want to update to Windows 10, version 1909, you must use the Enablement Package KB4517245 (EKB). Using the EKB makes updating faster and easier and requires a single restart. For more information, see Windows 10, version 1909 delivery options.

    You are absolutely right. 

    And thanks for the infos.

    And I found the System work around from Microsoft Seems to be odd.

    And in addition what you said about WSL version 2. ....................

    Maybe I am misunderstanding. The work around I gave is odd???? It does not work? --  OR are you saying why did MS start using the "ABOUT" PAGE rather than leave things the way they were?  If so, they should have left EVERYTHING the way it was when it worked!!!!!!  DEAD FRUSTRATING.

    I have never mentioned WSL version 2 anywhere, mostly because I did not know what it is until now when I used the interweb search tool to look it up.  I have NEVER used anything Linux.   Maybe you are confusing me with someone else?  Wouldn't be surprised since you help so many people! 

    I am still going to post my never-ending flash drive ISO results... perhaps tomorrow.  I've been on phone most of day with my phone carrier to help me with a problem with my smartphone. The more technology advances, the more problems we have.

    I am TRYING to blame that phone problem on the windows update... but can't seem to!  It seems everything that breaks lately or if I have problems with something electronically, I try to blame windows 10!   LOL

    Try not to get too DEAD mad!  Although, we're all there!!!!     Take care mrd.
