Cumulative updates - November 2020

Hi Sumit, After this recent update i cannot see my system information in old way like in this picture below.

Now when i go to my  "This PC " and my Properties , it opens in different format like picture below . How can go back to first image display.

Scroll down on this website's page and it will show you how to create a s hortcut that will be put on your desktop and then you should be able to see things the way you were used to.   I don't have 20H2 yet -- so I  haven't tried it, but it looks good :D

After todays update i.e on 18/11/2020 windows desktop disappers any any thing is pasted or creating new folder going to somewhere else and not showing on desktop whole desktop is blank.

This November 2020 Cumulative Windows update has been a trainwreck for my PC.  I have no idea what the point of the update was but I lost favorite menus, all of my saved passwords, email logins etc. I've spent days re-entering passwords, only to not have them there the next time I log-in. When I finally got my favourite menus back, but logging into my Google Account on Chrome, they were book marks from years back, added in with my current ones.

At one point the Outlook Mail program would no longer launch, after a few diagnostic programs that said they did not work, it now works. 

It would be nice if when Microsoft Provides Updates, it didn't require days of labor to get your computer back up and running.

I very much appreciate what you do and thank you. I am sorry - due to frustration... 

However, it is a shame becasue now it looks like Microsoft is exploiting volunteers who help out in this forum for free, when they collect the annual fees for the software they issue (and the problems they also create).

For me what you describe gets really difficult and being a simple user I am allways very worried to do something wrong and make it worse. I will perhaps try, but in the meantime I got already in contact with Fujitsu and asked them, if they can do a complete factory reset in which they reinstall everything new  - even the operating system - then start again with installing Win10 and update. I would assume that then also the original functionalities incl autorotation will return and then we see, if the problem will be caused again when updating to the latest Win10 version.

All my data and files are secured external anyhow - so in my view this would be the cleanest and most straight forward way. I hope Fujitsu can arrange this.

Let's see. Perhaps in the meantime I will try what you described - but I am fully occupied with my work too, therefore this needs to wait until find some quiet hours to try that. Perhaps during the weekend...
