Task manager on my windows desktop says that efficiency mode is active for several but not all sub-processes of google chrome and I believe that is the reason for the drop in performance. I am able to disable efficiency mode for each individual sub-process, but *it returns a few minutes later. I cannot permanently disable it.*Simple actions such as changing a tab or moving the window causes it to freeze for several minutes. I have no recent or current updates to install. Everything is up to date.- There are no other demanding processes / apps running on my pc- I have tried altering Chrome's performance and memory settings. Nothing changed.- This problem is the same with Edge and some other applications.- Efficiency mode is greyed out for the entire application. Only certain sub-processes of chrome are in efficiency mode. The only difference between yesterday and today, is that efficiency mode is active non-stop. I do not want efficiency mode running at all for google chrome as it is the main browser I use for work and school.

Your technologies worse than chinese. Why worse than chinese because MSConfig does not work properly. My pc have 8gb ram ddr4 and ryzen 5 5600g so i used MSConfig only for 2 things to set maximum amount of cores and threads which is 12 for my cpu and maximum amount of ram which is 8192 mb single chanel so everytime windows 11 start it makes me blue screen and saying ( Preparing Automatic Repair ) and to solve this problem i reinstall my pc with new windows 11 because who makes his pc slower to make System Restore you must be idiot to use this making your pc slower in games even if you have 64 core cpu and mining rig with 8 gpus rtx 4090. This program not working anymore MSConfig not for windows 11 but its the only way to make pc not slowing down when you have opened 300 tabs in the background in your browser because you have 2 x 16gb ddr4 3200 mhz

Brave (web browser) have the same problem for windows 11 my pc with 3060 ti makes me so angry man............

Steam have Launch Options so you can type -high and it start game you want in high priority everytime automatically ? There is only 1 way to solve this problem. Use pc to play football.
