I do not want efficiency mode running at all for google chrome as it is the main browser I use for work and school.

This is insane. I have 32 GB DDR 5 and an i7 13700H and my computer freezes to a crawl while using Chrome for more than 5 minutes. Sure is energy efficient I guess when it's programmed to completely stop lol

More investigation: Meet meetings continue functioning fine today with 36 active tabs, and several showing in 'efficiency mode'. Attached screenshot shows resource utilization during a Google Meet session with 5 active video feeds (1 from my machine with video and audio actively up and down). This suggests that Efficiency Mode is not at the root cause of unusable Chrome or Meet meetings within Chrome. This suggests that the removal/reversion of Windows 11 update KB5026375 is what transitioned from unusable to usable Chrome and Google Meet meetings within Chrome.

Opera is the only browser I can use now. Everything else has become unusable
