Only certain sub-processes of chrome are in efficiency mode. The only difference between yesterday and today, is that efficiency mode is active non-stop. I do not want efficiency mode running at all for google chrome as it is the main browser I use for work and school.

Type address: about:config I changed my solution to only fix Firefox. My Chrome just went back to efficiency mode again...

Never heard of Brave, but will definitely be checking it out. That stupid EM just froze my genealogy program again today and lost me 3 hours of research. I do back-ups often, but not THAT often. Thank you.

No, the setting is in Firefox. Type address: about:config

I changed my solution to only fix Firefox. My Chrome just went back to efficiency mode again...
