Windows 10 Version 22H2 (KB5022834) will not update

2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022834) will not update for the past month.

The message "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes" keeps appearing.

I am on

Edition: Windows 10 Home

Version: 22H2

Installed on: 25/12/2020

OS Build: 19045.2251

Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0

I have tried running the Windows Update troubleshooter.

I am unsure what else to do as I am a newbie at this.

I would appreciate any assistance with this.

    Hi Logan, I'll try my best steps to resolve this issue.

    Try these steps below:

    1. Type "services" in search bar and run it with admin privileges. Restart your windows update and its medication services by right-clicking on them and select restart .

    2. Open Run tab by pressing windows button+R and copy paste this C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution then delete all files in that folder permanently.

    3. Now go back to update settings and click to check for updates. Let it check for pending updates and finally install them as usually as everybody does. ( Update and Restart in Power Button )

    Also try these solutions:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt(with admin) and copy paste these :
    • net stop wuauserv
    • net stop bits
    • rename c:windowsSoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bak
    • net start wuauserv
    • net start bits

    Then restart your PC and check for updates.

    Start MSINFO32.EXE as administrator.

    Press Ctrl + S to save the entries to a log file.

    Zip the NFO log and upload.

    Hiya, I did all of these things and the error is still occuring, I now have an error code if it may help: "There were some problems installing updates, but we’ll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x800f0922)"
