Windows 10 Version 22H2 (KB5022834) will not update

2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022834) will not update for the past month.

The message "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes" keeps appearing.

I am on

Edition: Windows 10 Home

Version: 22H2

Installed on: 25/12/2020

OS Build: 19045.2251

Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0

I have tried running the Windows Update troubleshooter.

I am unsure what else to do as I am a newbie at this.

I would appreciate any assistance with this.

    Glad it's resolved for you.

    Note for other users: If you don't want to upgrade to Windows 11 can reinstall Windows 10 using the in-place upgrade method. Your data/settings and apps will be preserved by default. The CBS issues will be fixed, and the LCU will be auto-applied during the process. Here's a walkthrough. How to perform an In-place Upgrade with Windows 10 Step-by-Step Guide - Microsoft Community

    If you can't repair Windows for some reason, feel free to start a new question and upload your CBS logs there.

    I tell you that this has been very frustrating. Microsoft needs to understand that there needs to be more debug in the messages.

    Meanwhile I have a solution for everyone.

    I upgraded to windows 11 last night and the problems have gone away.

    Sorry I can't do that, as I need to verify more settings on that particular system. Anyway, the CBS fixes are not generic in most cases.
