Windows 10 Version 22H2 (KB5022834) will not update

2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022834) will not update for the past month.

The message "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes" keeps appearing.

I am on

Edition: Windows 10 Home

Version: 22H2

Installed on: 25/12/2020

OS Build: 19045.2251

Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0

I have tried running the Windows Update troubleshooter.

I am unsure what else to do as I am a newbie at this.

I would appreciate any assistance with this.

    Sorry to destroy your hope here, but amd64 is the same as x64 (x86-64 (also known as x64, x86_64, AMD64, and Intel 64) is a 64-bit version of the x86 instruction set, first released in 1999). Therefore the architecture is correct.

    I have the same issue on one of my systems and no idea how to fix it and it is not just annoying, but unacceptable. After all I actually paid real dollars for this OS, which is now wasting my time. I used to like Microsoft products, but I'm over it. I cannot stop updates, even if I disable them. Microsoft is just ignoring this and thinks they know better what *MY* computer (I own it, I paid for it, Microsoft!) should do. After 35 years of being a software engineer I finally learned to hate Microsoft and their products. You are ignorant, incompetent, arrogant idiots!

    after I done step 1 and I don't see PERMANENTLY folder under C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.

    please advise.
