I have a fulltime job, including week-ends, have no time to manipulate Win all the day. I'll try if I have a bit time, but for now no time. An OS is supposed to be functional, that's the sense of "operating" system in OS. Sorry to remind that. ;)
Windows 10 Version 22H2 (KB5022834) will not update
2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022834) will not update for the past month.
The message "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes" keeps appearing.
I am on
Edition: Windows 10 Home
Version: 22H2
Installed on: 25/12/2020
OS Build: 19045.2251
Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0
I have tried running the Windows Update troubleshooter.
I am unsure what else to do as I am a newbie at this.
I would appreciate any assistance with this.
Thanks in advance.

The CBS logs (c:\windows\logs\cbs\*.log) will tell what has gone wrong.

2023-02-21T05:16:11+00:00 Hi, did also chkdsk and direct setup through MS update catalogue, no solution. 8(( For the moment, the best choice is to transfer the updates to manual authorizacion through gpedit on Win Pro. wushowhide.diagcab and windows update minitool are not hiding KB KB5022834, so that nothing else can be installed.

2023-02-21T05:15:01+00:00 I will have to investigate this inplace upgrade.
When I booted from a recovery USB, it wanted to format my drive and re-install.
I did and restored my latest backup--- all my programs and personal stuff was gone!
I had an image of the disk from an image program and put everything back but I would have been totally screwed without the image.
BTW, I do not store any data files on the OS drive.
Yes, I never store either priv data on OS partition. But the fact is, we cannot update the sys. 8(

2023-02-21T00:42:38+00:00 As everyone has mentioned I'm having the same issue, mine has happened after a clean install reset. Is Microsoft going to repair the update or release some sort of patch. Could they just acknowledge there is a problem. All the suggested fixes don't work. This is constantly using data to download the update over and over. I don't want to turn updates off.
