i have been getting random reboots with the error about SCEP.

    my computer crashes every so often in the same way and with the same 'reason', and this was the closest thread i could find to the result -- are you saying this specific error doesn't cause the crashes?

    Exactly, it's just something that occurs when you boot up after a complete shutdown. In your case a crash, but it will also occur the next time you boot after selecting "Shut down" while holding down the shift key.

    I had the same issue on my previous AMD computer and now have it on an Intel build. You can just ignore this error.

    If you want assistance with the crashes I suggest you start a new thread.

    This problem dont cause crashes, stop meaningless replies.

    Problem cause from new fTPM Ver on your newbios(keyid-578 > keyid-907), but MS/AMD dont signature it.

    U can find oldbios NCU-Amd-keyid-578..., but dont find newbios NCU-Amd-keyid-907.... (TrustedTpm.cab\Microsoft\IntermediateCA) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/security/guarded-fabric-shielded-vm/guarded-fabric-install-trusted-tpm-root-certificates

    OS have 2 task from \Microsoft\Windows\CertificateServicesClient, KeyPreGenTask and AikCertEnrollTask

    KeyPreGenTask generate AIK and SK, You can view "windows security>TPM" say AIK/SK "Not ready" to "ready"

    AikCertEnrollTask has download this AIK cert to your system.

    If your bios was previously old, U can find NCU-Amd-keyid-578... in Intermediate certification Authorities.

    Control Panel(Legacy) > Network and Internet panel > Internet Options > Content tab > Certificates > Intermediate certification Authorities

    Unlike errorlog again n again, u can stop AikCertEnrollTask.

    If have people say solve this issue, 99% fake/joke (ask him, export keyid-907 Intermediate certificate to u

    hey, i'm not the most well-versed with computer stuff (i'd say i have intermediate knowledge), could you or someone else paraphrase this/write this a bit more clearly? i'm super sorry but i'm afraid i'm struggling to follow what you've written here

    i have dual boot windows 10 and 11 , HP 2021 computer amd, this error is in both Win 10 and 11 , So it is not a Microsoft issue it is AMD issue, so nothing to troubleshoot if it is in both operating systems on same computer, they will sort it out, i have No issues with the computer at all, i just check event viewer from time to time,
