How to turn off Windows security asking me for a password to see my Google Chrome passwords

that is very useful, so will try, although not relevant to my particular obsession My main grouches are -

• Google used to autofill my password to a site - the whole point of saving passwords with GPM.
• Now it does not do so, following also my finding Ms had exported my main passwords to an Edge site.
• Sometimes, also, a password registered on GPM is stated as incorrect for the site I am accessing.
• I view Ms as constantly interfering along with pop-ups, conversation suggestions I do not need, and other apparently monopolistic activity and apparent intent. I am a simple slightly ignorant plain user, needing nothing more than Excel, Word, PDF, photos, emails.

I will get a life one day no doubt, meanwhile I must work from first switch-on.

I have this turned off and I still keep getting this window and request for my password. I have a new Surface Pro Laptop 5 and I'm trying to use 1Password. I have to reboot my laptop to get this to stop but then it happens again the second time I try to use 1Password.

Just to point out, if you've ever had someone come and sit at your computer when you weren't looking, you do NOT want to have this turned off. That goes double if this is at work or some other shared location, and not just in your house. If you have left your computer unlocked and someone opens Chrome, they can get into your entire life if you sync your passwords.

It's also possible if you get malware on your computer - and, seriously, if you're looking for ways to turn off security features because they annoy you, then I'm going to imagine that it's fairly likely you will - some of these can open up your passwords list and grab everything, unless Chrome is set to ask you for your PC login when someone asks to open up the list.

It may be a huge inconvenience (really? A password is a huge inconvenience?) but so is having to use a key to open your house. Better leave it open. Better still, a door is an unnecessary barrier to coming home with grocery bags, so remove it. Please just think about what you're doing, and not just that passwords are annoying. You're saving having to remember hundreds of different passwords, by hiding them behind one password that you can type quickly since you do it so often. Don't make the mistake of hiding all these passwords behind absolutely nothing.

How can I turn off Windows security asking me for a password to see my Google Chrome passwords. This is a real inconvenience.

New computer, New to Windows 11. I have the Windows Security pop up problem when trying to access Google Passwords.

But I do have the option to turn it off being spoken about to solve it,

My Options

Without the solution option, how do I turn this unwanted pop up off or obliterate it all together. Windows should not be interfering with matters in another app.

Please help - this is doing my head in.

I don't have that setting on my 2013 laptop.
