My microsoft account got hacked by a rambler.ru account and replaced my original email with theirs. that email address is [PII Removed] i requested a security info change from that email address back to my own but now my account is locked for two days and i'm not sure if requesting a security info change alone would be enough to keep the hacker from my account.
from my understanding too, I believe that they originally got to my microsoft account by hacking my email credentials.

I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Usually when a hacker changes the Email on a Microsoft Account, then that account cannot be recovered, it is lost and there is no method to recover the account.
If you have been luck enough to be able to recover your account, when the 2 day time period has lapsed, it would be best to ensure you have a very strong password on your account and enable 2 factor authentication on your account to ensure the hacker no longer can access your account.

I can't login to my windows account on my laptop.
I can't login to my main authenticator account.
I can't login to my main Microsoft account.
I can't login to my office365 and subsequently my one drive backups.
This means also now that some sites are trying to revoke my history, especially ancestry sites as my DNA is uploaded and I turned in two factor authentication.
None of them no longer exist. I can still see everything but not login.
I have also now found an email sent to the new email address at 9 seconds past midnight on the day the email address for notifications was changed. It is from Microsoft and sends an API link to him with no reference or warning to that email or my back up Microsoft account.
I continually pass the account recovery questionnaires but get no codes as there is nothing on the list of retrievable to match my circumstances.
It has now been 7 months if being told I don't understand and told repeatedly to fill in the same automated process that I have already analysed and repeatedly highlighted why it is not fit for my particular scenario.
And still I am ignored.
Over 30 years with Microsoft obviously means nothing is the message I am getting back right now.
I may be patient, and pilute, and understanding. Please do not think it is because I do not understand, actually it is because support at Microsoft do not understand and I do not blame undertrained staff for following procedure.
Please also understand that I will not give up and I understand my rights and service expectations and will keep pursuing such until I am heard and something is done. Ideally a positive response from within Microsoft Corporation .

Hello, yesterday I went to log in to my hacked epic games account and what happened was that when I logged in it appeared that my account does not exist, then I went to try to log in with my nintendo account since I had it connected to epic games, but when I logged in with the nintendo account, two-step verification appeared and an email appeared that I had never used and the email ends at @rambler.ru

First. Please check Microsift support pages for information on this issue since 2020. It actually takes your account and turns off the Microsoft authenticator that I was using faithfully, and replaces the email address for resetting the password.
Second. I did not mention a law suit. A subpoena is a request to have my account returned to me so that I don't gave to die first for my children to be able to have access to our family history. All kept on one drive for safety reasons and now lost because I can't speak to a human being and validate the past 5 years subscriptions paid via PayPal, for safety reasons again. Btw. I also had a sister account set-up to verify my main account and that was bypassed also. And that account is my Windows login on my laptop and is having issues everywhere also.
Sux to be a loyal private user since 1992 that is for sure... to lose my life story because I used multifactor authentication is even more insulting.
But of course... you are entitled to your massive generalisations and assumptions as much as I am entitled to speak the truth.

The account theft/hijacking you experienced is not uncommon.
I have no idea how you would serve a subpoena to Microsoft.
