Did it work?
Why is Microsoft Solitaire and Casual Games not opening up the last few days. I even reset, uninstalled, and reinstalled. Still will not open.
I am unable to open Microsoft Solitaire and Casual Games the last few days. First it was telling me there was no internet connection when there was. Then it just stopped opening up.
I first did and trouble shoot and fix on Microsoft Store.
I ended up having to Reset the Microsoft Solitaire and Casual Games - losing all my years of scores and challenges.
Still not working.
Day 4. Gave up and Uninstalled Microsoft Solitaire and Casual Games and Reinstalled. Still not working.
I pay for a premium subscription for a game I cannot even play.
Any ideas what is wrong?

2023-11-14T17:02:41+00:00 I have the same problem. My spider solitaire was fine until I renewed my subscription and now the Games App won't open. Unfortunately I can't even understand the advice posted by the independent adviser, let alone follow it... can anyone tell me in simple terms what to do? It's really frustrating to lose all your stats...

2023-12-07T16:55:52+00:00 I suspect that a Windows Update has caused this problem. Microsoft needs to verify that its Casual Games & Solitaire Collection works properly on the latest version of Windows 10. I've just spent £95 on a technical assist company which has spent several days trying to get this problem solved, so far without success despite reinstalling Windows 10 more than once and reinstalling Microsoft Casual Games & Solitaire Collection more than once. I too am paying for this game collection which no longer works. What can I do if Microsoft refuses to fix this bug?

2023-12-07T19:06:06+00:00 Thank you Roger.
I feel reassured that it’s not just my stupidity! Does anyone know how we can lobby Microsoft to fix this for us? After all, it’s not like we’re trying to access sophisticated new games. Just boring old stuff like spider solitaire ! Come on Microsoft! We’ve paid our subs so let us play (or pray!)

2023-12-07T20:13:56+00:00 Hi,
the "given" and for many users "working" solution was to add (install) "Mahjong" to ones Casual Games Account ... without a need to use it ever ... just installing it worked for many others and also for me ... you may try that "workaround" too!
Best regards,
