Thanks!
This worked for me, I rejected all cookies though. ;)
Why is Microsoft Solitaire and Casual Games not opening up the last few days. I even reset, uninstalled, and reinstalled. Still will not open.
I am unable to open Microsoft Solitaire and Casual Games the last few days. First it was telling me there was no internet connection when there was. Then it just stopped opening up.
I first did and trouble shoot and fix on Microsoft Store.
I ended up having to Reset the Microsoft Solitaire and Casual Games - losing all my years of scores and challenges.
Still not working.
Day 4. Gave up and Uninstalled Microsoft Solitaire and Casual Games and Reinstalled. Still not working.
I pay for a premium subscription for a game I cannot even play.
Any ideas what is wrong?

2023-10-12T08:49:27+00:00 Dear all,
I may have found another workaround that may be useful for some of you. The problem re-emerged again on my wife's computer, but not on my computer. My wife is running Windows 10 with Dutch display language, whereas I am using English. I have tried all the suggested workarounds and solutions to fix the problem on my wife's computer, but to no avail. However, the simple procedure below solved the problem on my wife's computer.
Change the display language from whatever you are using, into English (United States). Sign off from Windows and sign in again. Start Solitaire, agree with the requested permissions and Solitaire will load. Close Solitaire, change the display language to whatever you were using before. Sign off from Windows and sign in again. Start Solitaire and it should load without any problems.
I hope this helps for some of you.

I too had the same problem and the only thing that sorted it was an Microsoft update (sorry can't tell you which one). This seemed to sort out the issue.

2023-10-01T19:23:55+00:00 Download and install Mahjong. From that game you can link to Solitaire. If you do that from then on it works. That seems to be the solution for nearly everybody on here. Good Luck

2023-10-01T19:12:29+00:00 Hi, I have been following and have the same problem. I tried all your solutions and this one worked using another user account. I had over a month without internet due to a wild fire burning the phone lines and played the solitaire games, but when I got internet again it did not work. Do you know how I can play the solitaire games without changing the user account.
Thank you for all your help in the previous posts,
