Hi Rick,

I'm Christine, a Windows user like you. I'll do my best to help you.

Looks like you're getting a popped up of iCloud on your startup.

This usually occurs when it's enabled on Startup Settings.

To disable it, please follow the steps below:

Press right click the Start Menu and choose Task Manager, then select the Startup tab and right-click iCloud and select Disable.

Restart your device and it should not popped up on your startup.

Please let me know the result. I'll be happy to assist you all the way until it's resolved.

Thank you,

Christine L

    Still going through this thread...

Uninstall did not work for me. This is on a clients pc. I uninstalled everything within "Programs and Features" related to apple... this, after thinking simply disabling apple from the startup group would (should) be all that is necessary. The app is still popping up! How can this be if the software has been removed.

The only thing I can think of is that the apple folders still reside on the pc and that, within the apple account, it is still set to sync. Client did not use apple and did not even know their password. We went through the process of restoring and resetting password, logged in with the PC and turned off all the sync folders.

So far, so good... apple has not popped up again. What is still interesting is that the apple products are still listed in the potential startup apps group although they are set to "no" don't load at startup.

One more time... how can this be if all the apple products have been removed from the PC. Kind of scary that Apple has its hook in there still - likely through the registry?

if I close the pop-up in comes back in an hour or so. Shouldn't it stay closed if I close it even if it is opened on start-up as long as I haven't rebooted my PC
