Linking phone to PC creates duplicate contacts

The issue began to manifest itself, as others have reported in this thread, as soon as the "Sync contacts" switch in the "Link to Windows" app on Android was turned ON by me. See enclosed first screenshot below. As you can see, I have now turned this switch OFF.

WE NOW NEED A SOLUTION IN OUTLOOK.COM:

• We need a way to delete all of the (thousands) of orphaned Contacts which still remain present in Outlook.com.
• We need to be able to delete either that specific Category of contacts (= "Contacts synced by Link to Windows").
• Or to be able to delete the contacts which are in it all at once, instead of only per groups of 10, which is the maximum now; because that method is completely unworkable.

Did you check your Phone app...
I had the contacts but with Skype and not with synced by Link to Windows..

(I had over 13000 contact and erase all it was a lots of clicks... in the phone app you mut erase one by one... I do that... a spend a lot of time to do that during meetings... ;) )

Microsoft should provide a simple solution for this "fatal" bug , for example in the ways I outlined above.

Users should not be the ones to clean up thousands of duplicate contacts, since the issue was most likely caused by a malfunction in Microsoft's Link to Windows app.

but I hadn't time to wait The main problem for me it's that it seams that Microsoft doesn't make anything to purge the duplicated contacts.

We are only a small count of customers with the problem... we are nothing ...

We need a resolution from Microsoft - everyone using Link to windows WILL have this issue regardless of Apple or Android
