***UPDATE, I DID NOTHING AND TONIGHT MY COMPUTER NO LONGER SHOWS THESE ERRORS. MICROSOFT MUST HAVE FIXED IT***

The troubleshooting steps I see listed do not work with an updated current Surface Laptop 4.

I am pleased to report that the Windows Update team at Microsoft was able to resolve this problem on 2/16/2023, at around 10:30am PST.

Have the same question. Today, update wants me to install optional updates. Get and error because they are already installed. Microsoft please fix!
After thoroughly checking I realize that you are correct. After trying this method also the problem of drivers update reappears. Then again following the method that I have suggested, the problem disappears & comes back again later. So it seems like only Microsoft needs to fix it permanently otherwise rest all suggested problem solving solutions are of temporary nature.

Yeah, at this point, I'm going to pause this until Microsoft has a fix for this.
